Oak chair from the Kochubei Palace in Dykanka. 19th century. Decorated with carvings on the backrest, seat frame and legs. The carvings on the frame repeat traditional motifs of French cabinetmakers of the 15th-18th centuries. The arched backrest is framed by carvings in the form of a grapevine with fruit. The carved uprights are crowned with rosettes. The legs are made of alternating blocks and turned balusters. The high backrest and seat have been upholstered with fabric after restoration.
