Cerset 32. Women's outer garment ‘Yupka’ Inv. # 434 Poltava region, Khorol district Kozubivka village Early 20th century Made of brown jacquard fabric, lined with calico, with internal ties The skirt is decorated with blue silk braid around the neckline and chest. The right side of the chest is decorated with an appliqué floral motif in the form of a tree with flowers. The appliqué is complemented by smooth embroidery with red and white silk thread. The sleeves are decorated with velvet overlays with stitching. The neckline is decorated with velvet edging. At the back, the fabric forms six longitudinal folds, called ‘fandiv’ or ‘vusiv,’ which are decorated with buttons. The skirt belonged to Serbin Natalka Petrivna, 1907-2001.
