Corset 016. Women's ‘Kerset’ Inv. # 440 Poltava Region, Khorol District Kozubivka Village Early 20th century Made of dark velvet, lined with calico, with internal ties. The armholes and neckline are trimmed with light-coloured velvet piping. The kerst is decorated with braid around the neckline and chest. The chest is decorated with decorative stitching and an appliqué in the form of a branch with flowers. The appliqué is made of green, blue and pink silk ribbons. At the back, the fabric forms six longitudinal folds, decorated with buttons. The jacket belonged to Krutko Orishka Oleksiivna, 1891-1982.
