Cerset 012. Women's ‘Kerset’ Inv. #439 Poltava Region, Khorol District Trubaytsi Village Early 20th century Made of dark velvet, lined with calico, with internal ties. The armholes and neckline are trimmed with red calico piping. Decorated with silk braid around the neckline and chest. The chest of the jacket is decorated with silk braid appliqué in the form of a floral motif - branches with green and pink flowers. There is decorative stitching along the edge of the right side. The back of the fabric has six longitudinal folds, called ‘fandiv’ or ‘vusiv,’ which are decorated with buttons. The jacket was donated by Lidiya Lychko and belonged to her grandmother, a member of the Gulykh family from the village of Trubaytsi.
